Dr. Thomas Feder was raised in O’Fallon, Illinois by his parents, Paul and Elizabeth. He is the second oldest of four children. His father was a dentist in O’Fallon, and his great uncle, Nick, was a dentist in Belleville.
Dr. Feder attended St. Clare Grade School, Althoff Catholic High School, Belleville Area College (now Southwestern Illinois College), and St. Louis University School of Dentistry. He spent three years in the United States Public Health Service, two of which he was assigned to the United States Coast Guard. He started his dental practice in Belleville more than 40 years ago.
Tom is married to Linda and they have four sons, Ryan, Paul, Kyle, and Drew. The family resides in Belleville. He served twelve years on the Belle Valley School Board and has taught Sunday school at St. Peter’s Cathedral. He enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and playing tennis.
